Dr. Paul Ashton (Adjutant of General Wainwright's Philippine Division -
Medical Regiment and Assistant Bataan Force Surgeon) wrote two books about his and other's
experiences in the Philippines during World War II, so that future generations
will know the truth and won't forget the horrors of war.
